Chicago Flag Jeans

About the art: As a I’m born and raised suburban Chicago boy, I feel like red, white, and baby blue royalty - I wanted a way to honor the city I grew up in. I sketched this jean on my iPad summer 2023 when I was at the park watching a city flag wave by the Streeterville hospital campus. I was playing around with designs on different jean wash colors and thought how close the light blue was to the flag. I added the stripe and stars and bam... the Chicago jean flag was born. I also wrote the name of the city "Chicago" down the left leg in a graffiti style to honor the street artists that put us on the map.

The canvas: printed on pre-loved pair of Levi’s denim that have been washed and carefully inspected to ensure the jeans are in pristine warren condition.
